Residents observed substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts announced that multiple regions across the state had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

Utility workers were focused on reestablishing electricity service throughout the affected regions, with nearly 70 crews activated to manage the extensive power failures.
Victorian Storm Challenges
At the same time, nearly 1,000 energy customers in Victoria also faced electricity disruptions after Melbourne saw its heaviest rainfall in 18 months.
State Emergency Services responded to over five hundred emergency reports across the area, mainly for property damage but also for fallen timber and flooding.

At one point on yesterday, over twenty-eight thousand energy customers in the state were without power.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this coming days as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.
Tomorrow was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing severe weather risk anticipated across various areas of both states.
