The tall defender A nuisance on corners and free-kicks, typically, perhaps is a replacement for his teammate at the back rather than his partner. A careless distribution in the second half came close to a goal for Albania. 6
The young full-back A further assured performance by the youngster following his initial appearance versus Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on the most of a gorgeous backheel over the Albania defence. The role is his to lose so soon. 7/10
The newcomer A debut start for his country. Slightly sloppy on the ball however his whipped corners caused problems. An effective game manager for the coach to utilize versus teams who drop deep. Shown a yellow after a reckless foul. 6
Declan Rice Crosses from corners and free-kicks were dangerous. Had freedom to drift down the left flank but was offside upon receiving in front of goal. Given a merited break around the 60-minute point. 6
The star midfielder Played in a forward position down the right while also contributed with dirty work. Displayed glimpses of brilliance but mishit a shot over. Withdrawn towards the end for Rogers, his competition, following a yellow card. Seven
Jarrod Bowen Had the team's best chance in the opening period, his strike well saved from Thomas Strakosha. As a teammate holding position, it fell to him to provide width on the right but his crosses from wide areas varied in quality. Substituted late in the match. 6
Harry Kane The decisive figure netting 77th and 78th strikes at international level. The opener a classic poacher’s finish and the second a classy finish with his head having drifted away off his defender. At 32, he continues to improve and the side have every chance in future competitions with him up top. 8
Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to make an impact on the left flank. Had a decent opportunity when set up by Bellingham but the keeper kept it out. Rashford had a greater influence after coming on. Five
